Bob was born in Coffeeville, Mississippi in 1923. He married Kathryn Pitts in 1943. Bob served in WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He is a graduate of Ole Miss in accounting. Kathryn and Bob moved to Baton Rouge in 1956 where they soon became charter members of Broadmoor Baptist Church. Bob and Kathryn loved traveling in their motor home with their dog, their friends and their family. He was an avid golfer and gave proof that you can love something without being very good at it. He cherished every Ole Miss victory over LSU. He loved sports and won metals in basketball in the senior Olympics. He especially loved his grand kids and great grand kids. They will always remember him as "Pap". Bob is the son of M.H. and Emma Covington Harbour. He is survived by his wife of 71 years Kathryn Pitts Harbour, his sons Robert L Harbour, Jr. and his wife Fran, and John P Harbour and his wife Charlotte, his niece Sheila Scott and her husband Johnie (Buzzy), his granddaughters Elizabeth Rutledge and her husband Tracy, Kate Cangelosi and her husband Charlie, Beth Aucoin and her husband Ryan, his grandson John David Harbour and his wife Trina, his great grandchildren Grace, Ivy and James Rutledge, Tripp and Emma Harbour, and Kinlee Aucoin. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 10am until funeral services in the chapel at 12noon. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family wants to thank Hospice of Baton Rouge and the Butterfly Wing at the Baton Rouge General for their wonderful care.
