Carol passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 6:38 p.m. at Plaquemine Caring Nursing Home in Plaquemine at the age of 86. She was a retired LPN, a native of White Castle and a resident of Plaquemine. Visiting will be on Monday, March 17, at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 1 p.m., celebrated by Rev. Jason Palermo. Interment to follow in Grace Memorial Park. Carol is survived by a daughter, Amanda A. McCall and husband Barry; four sons, Brent Allain and wife Stacey, Kevin Allain and wife Peggy, Tom Allain and wife Nellie, Drew Allain and wife Karen; a brother, Roy Carbo and wife Merle; a sister-in-law, Mildred "Mickey" Carbo; 15 grandchildren, Destiny ST. Angelo, Lacy Gaudet, Jene' Burgess, Brett Bajon, Ryan Allain and wife Tracy, Kaley Crowson and husband Clark, Chet Allain and wife Elise, Kirk Allain and wife Dusti, Tommy, Shaun, Emily, George and Brandy Allain, Austin and Brooke Walker; 15 great-grandhcildren; 1great-great grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband, George A. Allain; 2 children, Barbara A. Bajon and George A."Gigi" Allain, Jr.; son-in-law, Greg Landry; her parents, Edward and Leola LeBlanc Carbo; 2 sisters, Sue Woest, Irene Caillet; 1 brother, Curtis Carbo; grandchild, Andrew Allain II; 2 great-grandchildren, Wade Garvin and Kirk Allain Jr. Pallbearers be will her grandsons and Calvin "Poochie" Caillet and Ricky Brown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John Alumni Association or . The family would like to express a special thanks to Plaquemine Caring Nursing Home and staff, Comfort Care Hospice and staff, and all the family and friends who showed love, care and support over the past months.
