Entered into eternal rest at his resident in Baton Rouge, LA on Sunday, March 23, 2014. He was a native of Lanehart, MS. Visitation on Friday, March 28, 2014 at New Beginning Baptist Church from 9am until religious service at 11am conducted by Pastor Donald Hunter, interment Fairdeal Cemetery. Survivors include his loving wife, Laura E. Gray, Baton Rouge; three children, Angela Gaines (Jonathan) and Nathan Gray III all of Baton Rouge and Tammy Langford, Austin, TX; four stepchildren, Vanessa Johnson, P.L. Johnson, Sabrina Morgan (Arthur), and Ashley Banks; five sisters, Lula Jarvis, Deaser Ike, Louella Jones, Mary Foster, Luebirda Hamilton (Alphonso); two brothers, Gene and Joseph Gray; four grandchildren; five step grandchildren; three God children; host of nieces, nephews,other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Arrangements entrusted to Miller & Daughter Mortuary, Zachary.
