Roy Hegney Coleman, Sr., retired dairy farmer, passed away March 25, 2014 at his home in Walker, Louisiana. Born July 19, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Roy lived most of his adult life on his dairy farm in Osyka, Mississippi. A graduate of University of Southwestern Louisiana, Roy was an Army veteran and member of The Knights of Columbus, McComb, Mississippi. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Coleman and Loretta St. Martin Coleman, and sister, Lois Coleman, Roy is survived by his wife, Lisa Lard Coleman, and son, Roy H. Coleman, Jr. (Cole). Visitation March 27, 2014, 5:00 – 9:00 PM at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Avenue, Denham Springs. Visitation will continue Friday, March 28 at 10:00 am, prior to Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 865 Hatchell Lane, Denham Springs, Louisiana. Interment to follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery No. 3, New Orleans, Louisiana. Pallbearers: Rodney Thomas, Kevin Johnston, Randy White, Anthony Woodard, John Rouchon, Mark Konzelman. Honorary pallbearers: Chris Perry, Lane Orillian and Wayne Orillian.
