Roy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a huge LSU fan. He was a retired marketing supervisor for Copolymer Rubber & Chemical of Baton Rouge, with 37 years of service. Roy was a native of Bogalusa and a resident of Denham Springs. He died at 3:54pm Monday, April 07, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, Wednesday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Visitation will resume Thursday from 11:00am until the religious service at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel, conducted by the Revs. Wayne Talley and Fred Dyess. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife of 51 years: Mary Stoltz Perry; daughter: Karen Perry Livingston & husband Ricky; two sons: Curt Perry & wife Eva, Blayne Perry & wife Crystal; sister: Barbara Joiner & husband Allen; brother: Rev. Richard Perry & wife Valerie; seven grandchildren: Heather, Doug, Danielle, Kayleigh, Sarah, Taylor and Abby; one great-granddaughter: Presley Grace. Pallbearers will be Shon Graves, Taylor Perry, Doug Perry, Billy Landry, Jeff Lea, David Templet, Michael Barrett and Justin Delatte. Roy was a trustee and a member of Victory Church of Walker. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the or Victory Baptist Church, Walker.
