He passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014. He was a 51-year-old mechanic and resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting will be from 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, until service at noon at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church. The Rev. Joseph B. Combs will conduct. Interment will be in Beechgrove Baptist Church Cemetery in Jackson, La. Survivors include his fiancée, Priscilla Jarrell; parents, Melvin Tansiel Sr. (Theresa); sisters, Shirley (Henry) Rosaya, Charlene (Michael) Lewis and Patricia (Jeffrey) Carmenia; brothers Clifton (Sandra) Tansiel and Donald (Rosalind) Tansiel.
