Tim Sullivan, 42, passed away Monday morning, April 15, 2014, at his home in Prairieville, Louisiana, after a lengthy illness. He was born April 10, 1972, in Decatur, Alabama, but spent most of his life as a resident of Baton Rouge and Prairieville. He was a graduate of Woodlawn High School and River Parishes Community College, and attended LSU. He was IT director at RPCC. He is survived by his wife, Julie Paxton Sullivan; daughter, Alex Olivia Sullivan; parents, James & Cindy Sullivan, Baton Rouge; brother, Corey Sullivan (Stefani), Zachary; aunt, Robyn Choiniere (Ron), Houston; grandmother, Ruth Sullivan, Birmingham; nieces and nephew, McKenzie, Kate, & Noah Sullivan, Zachary; cousins, Dylan & Dalton Choiniere; godchild, Isabel Elise Borne, Gonzales, and his beloved dogs, Hootie & Shadow. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Randy Baker; grandparents, Marvin Sullivan and Clifton & Wilda Baker, all of Birmingham; and his dog, Sandy. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, LSU football, and Duck Dynasty. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2014, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, Visitation will resume at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, to be followed by services at 11 a.m., conducted by the Reverend Alan Jones. Interment will be in Redwood Cemetery, Slaughter. The family wishes to thank Dr. Uyen Caro and the staff of Promise Hospital, main campus, Baton Rouge, and the staff of Amedisys Hospice, Baton Rouge. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Kristen Foundation of Amedisys Hospice or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Rd., Bethesda, MD 20814. The family would also like friends to consider becoming organ donors.
