Sherry Satterley Shows, a resident of Fordoche passed away at 12:54 p.m. Tuesday April 22, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. She was 79. Visiting at Fordoche Baptist Church on Thursday April 24, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and on Friday April 25, 2014 from 8:30 am until Religious Service in the church at 10:30 am, conducted by Rev. Gary Mitchell. Interment in Cottonwood Cemetery in Lottie. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Earl Shows of Fordoche; three daughters and sons-in-law, Amy (Bo) Evans of Fordoche, Cindy (Rafael) Perez of Lafayette, Beth (Kirk) LaCombe of Fordoche; one son, Travis N. Shows of Fordoche; one brother, Robert Satterley of Lottie; grandchildren, Jason LaCombe, Joshua and Jacob Evans, Danielle Perez, Katey Shows, Hannah Shows; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Cora Juneau Satterley, sisters- Glenda LeJeune and Trudy Carroll. Pallbearers are Bo Evans, Joshua Evans, Jacob Evans, Kirk LaCombe, Jason LaCombe, Rafael Perez. Honorary pallbearer is Aubrey Hendricks.
