Helena Broussard Baker, 94, of Oscar, LA passed away at home Thursday, April 24, 2014. She was born in Port Arthur, TX on March 3, 1920 and retired from the Louisiana Dept of Labor She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Bruner; 2 granddaughters, Denise Lanehart and Lara Mouser; 8 great-grandchildren, Jennifer Jenkins, Justin and Jaclyn Mouser, Cory Earles, Taylor Lanehart, Nicole and Emily Benedicto, and Jerri Carillo; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Landon Casanover and Brody Biddle; and sister Melba Tullier. Preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Emily Broussard, husband, Richard Elmo Baker, granddaughter Lisa Earles Benedicto, grandson Russell Lanehart, brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Alice Broussard, sister and brother-in-law Imogene and Henry Jenkins, sister Dorothy Aucoin, brother-in-law Gerald Tullier, and son-in-law, Leonard Bruner. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East 11000 Florida Blvd Friday, April 25, 2014 starting at 5:00pm and ending at 8:00pm. Visitation will resume Saturday, April 26, 2014 starting at 12:00pm with services in funeral home chapel at 1:00pm internment to follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
