Donald Dean O'Neill, Sr. passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the age of 77. He was a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Milwaukee, WI. He served in the US Air Force for 23 years retiring with the rank of Master Sargent. After the service he went to work for The Bone and Joint Clinic and retired from there. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East 11000 Florida Blvd. Monday, April 28, 2014 starting at 5:00pm until services at 6:00pm. He was survived by his son; Donald Dean O'Neill, Jr. and the mother of his children; Lisa Kay Benton, two grandchildren; Michael Benton O'Neill and Corrinne Emily O'Neill, a great-grandchild; Chance Bentley O'Neill. He was preceded in death by his wife; Linda Mae O'Neill, his son; Michael John O'Neill and his parents; John and Olive O'Neill. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Noel, Bill Winter, Dick Gilkey, Skip Paul, Al Babin and Terry Lockwood. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church (WELS) of Abita Springs.
