A resident of Plaquemine, Kye Boudreaux passed away May 7, 2014 at his camp. Born August 15, 1988, he was twenty five years old. Kye never met a stranger and lit up the room with his smile. He loved his family and friends always ready to help someone in need. He was a 2006 graduate of Catholic High School and received a degree in Process Technology from ITI Technical Institute. He was employed by Summit Industrial Construction. He was an avid hunter and fisherman along with many talents. Kye was musically inclined and could play many instruments. He played the saxophone in the CHS Band. He also played trumpet, piano, drums, and composed songs on his guitar. He loved working with his horse Romeo. Visitation will be at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm, celebrated by Rev. Greg Daigle. Burial in Grace Memorial Park. Kye is survived by his parents Darrel and Jane Gerace Boudreaux, brother Kade Boudreaux, maternal grandmother Barbara Rills Gerace, aunts and uncles Ann Gerace Marionneax and husband Donald, Jim ""Jimbo"" Gerace, Rhonda Boudreaux Martinez and husband Timmy, Lisa Boudreaux, Alton ""Boonie"" Boudreaux, Jr. and wife Stephanie; cousins Devlin Marionneaux, Hana Marionneaux LeBlanc and husband Cody, Nekki Boudreaux, Kendall Boudreaux and wife Jodi, Megan and Allyson Boudreaux, T.J. Martinez and wife Kim, Tiffany Martinez LeBlanc and husband Walter, Dama Martinez Hracek and husband Eric. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather Jimmy ""Rover"" Gerace; maternal great grandparents Flor and Stella Falcon Rills and Russell and Seraphina Graffania Gerace; paternal grandparents Alton Joseph ""Kye"" and Genevieve Gulotta Boudreaux; paternal great grandparents Euranie Savoy, Irvin Boudreaux, and Lawrence and Rosia Zito Gulotta. Pallbearers will be Kendall Boudreaux, B.J. Cazes, Devlin Marionneaux, Jacob LeBlanc, Jarret Fontenot, Jacob Gauthier, Cody Berthelot and Reece Avants. Honorary pallbearers will be Kade Boudreaux, Alton ""Boonie"" Boudreaux, Jr., Jim Gerace, Timmy Martinez, Dougie Simpson and T.J. Martinez.
