On May 8, 2014, Julie O'Brien Shutt passed away in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A native of New Orleans, Julie was born July 13, 1942 to Woods and Caroline O'Brien. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Shutt; four children, Madeline Shutt Alpandinar and husband Frank Alpandinar, Kenneth L. Shutt and wife Shannon Shutt, Kelly Shutt Cottrell and husband James Cottrell, and Amy Shutt and husband Van Remsen; four grandchildren, Kennon Shutt Campbell and husband Robert Campbell, Kamryn Shutt, Erin Alpandinar and Logan Shutt; and a great-granddaughter, Makenzie "Kenzie" Nile Campbell. Julie was a long-time parishioner of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Known for her exceptional authenticity, inimitable sense of humor, and compassionate nature, she was cherished by all who were lucky enough to be close to her. Visitation will be held Monday May 12, 2014 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA from 12:15 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by services conducted by Fr.
