So sorry for the loss of Mr JB. As Gene and I were talking, he reminded me that when he started at Lincoln Big Three, dad placed him under Mr JB to learn the business. We will always appreciate that time and all the talks about both the business and LC. Mom sends her prayers, as do Karen and Rebecca. He is now singing with dad in the Angel Choir. May God bless and keep each of you and give you strength, wisdom and courage in the days, weeks and months ahead. Always, Billye Hodges, Gene and Janis Hodges Steen, Karen Hodges Sasser, and Mark and Rebecca Hodges Griffin

I always looked forward to seeing JB and Mrs. Rita at Comite Baptist Church. I remember the potato soup that ya'll brought me after my heart attack last year. I know you all will miss him, as will I. Thank you so much for all the encouragement you have been to me through the years. I pray that God will bless you in this time and watch over you.

Mrs. Rita and family,
I knew J.B. all my adult life and he always had a kind word and helping hand and of course a joke or two. He loved his Lord and served him daily. As Christians one day we will see our loved ones and will reign and praise our God forever.
