A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Glenn R. Pizzalato will be held on Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 2 pm. Visitation will be Sunday 5 pm until 9 pm at Seale Funeral Home and resume at the funeral home on Monday at 11 am until 1:30 pm. Mr. Pizzalato was born June 20, 1952 in Baton Rouge, LA and departed from this life on Friday May 9, 2014 at his home in Denham Springs surrounded by his family. He was a Contract Administrator for Jacobs Engineering; a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; served with the U. S. Army; he enjoyed hunting, deep sea fishing, camping and woodworking; his passion was his family and being a devoted and loving husband, son, daddy and grandpa. He is preceded in death by his father Vincent Pizzalato; and son-in-law Daniel Raiford. Survivors include his wife of 38 years Diane Phillips Pizzalato; children Nickolas Pizzalato and wife Leah, Angela Rodriguez and husband Duane, and Andrew Pizzalato; mother Gladys Pizzalato; siblings Leonard Pizzalato and wife Dianne, Patricia Hornsby; grandchildren Andrew II, Mason, Cohen, Alyssa, Isabelle, Lexi and Blake; also survived by other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Tommy Hayes, Keith Damratoski, Leonard Pizzalato, Brandon Phillips, Darin Pizzalato and Eric Pizzalato. Honorary pallbearers will be Auburn Phillips, Eugene Mayeaux and Baker Boyd. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to Cancer Services of Baton Rouge in his memory.
