A retired employee of the City of Baton Rouge passed away at 8:55 am on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Lane Regional Medical Center. He was 91 and a resident of Baywood. Visiting at Richardson Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 21 from 5-8 p.m. Religious service on Thursday, May 22 at St. Paul COGIC at noon, conducted by Eld. John Moore. Interment in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Louise Jackson; daughters, Barbara Dyer, Elaine (Thomas) Harris, Brenda Jackson, Janice (Robert) Sullivan and Trenica (Louis) Brown; sons, McArthur Jackson and John A. Jackson, Sr. and god-son, James Williams; sister, Mary Holliday; brothers, John and Charlie Jackson; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
