Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at a 2:00 PM Protestant Service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Pamela "Michele" Smith, 46, who went to be with God on May 27, 2014 at her home. Reverend David Baudoin, Executive Pastor of Crossroads Church in Lafayette, Louisiana will conduct the funeral services. Eulogists will be Darlene Duhon and Mark Anderson. Karen Broussard, organist and soloist, will sing "Amazing Grace", "Wind Beneath My Wings", and "Faithfully" for the services. Survivors include her beloved husband, Jeff G. Smith; her daughter, Nicole Anderson, her son, Casey Howell, four grandchildren; her mother, Charlotte Gaspard; her father, Terry Anderson; her maternal grandfather, James Ellsberry; and three brothers, Mark Anderson, John Anderson, and Joey Gaspard. A native of Gulfport, Mississippi and resident of Butte La Rose, Louisiana for the past six years, Pamela Michele Smith was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Pallbearers will be Jeff Smith, Cameren Allen, John Anderson, Mark Anderson, Joey Gaspard, Casey Howell, Bryan Duhon, and Terry Anderson. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 10:00 AM until time of service. Michele was a lovely woman and I feel blessed to have known her. My deepest condolences to her entire family. Such a shock. I know she loved her family so much and would never have wanted to leave them early. God bless you all....prayers for peace. Connie Konikoff
