Felix W. Thomas, a retired brick mason, passed away at 2:20 a.m. Sunday, June 1, 2014, surrounded by family. He was 71. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014, with visiting from 9 a.m., at Winnfield Funeral Home. The Revs. Israel Williams and Raymond Plain will officiate. Interment will be in Winnfield Cemetery. Survivors include daughter LaMonica Thomas; son Felix Cole; 3 sisters; 1 brother; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Thomas.
