Born January 16, 1924 and a resident of Baton Rouge since 1956, he retired in 1993 from Dow Chemical Company where he worked for 38 years. He was a veteran of WWII and a graduate of Georgia Tech University. Visiting at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am celebrated by the Rev. Cleo Milano. A private graveside service will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Lilly D. Constantin; Children, Stephen Constantin and wife Sheri of Traverse City, Michigan, Judy Cenkus and husband Mark of Sugarland, Texas, Michael Constantin and wife Kathy of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Camille Constantin and Danielle Greenman and husband Scott, Stefanie Cenkus, Aaron Constantin and wife Amanda, Tyler Constantin; Great-grandchildren, Ashton, Ainsley and Declan Constantin. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph J. Constantin, his mother, Lydia Arnondin Constantin and a sister, Rosemary Lundgren. Active pallbearers will be Aaron and Tyler Constantin, David Lundgren, Camille Constantin, Danielle Greenman and Stefanie Cenkus. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Milazzo, Dane DeArmond, Gerald Lawrence, Chuck Denstorf and Karl Mack. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Baton Rouge, One Calais Place, Baton Rouge 70809 or the Rural Life Museum.Rabenhorst Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
