On Monday, June 16, 2014 surrounded by family at her home in Addis, Loutisha Wicks peacefully passed on to be with the Lord. She was 98 years old, born on March 19, 1916 in Addis, LA. Before returning back to Addis, Loutisha lived in Ogden, Utah. She worked as a Sewing Supervisor for the Department of Defense. Upon retirement, she returned to her native home. Visiting at Hall Davis & Sons Funeral Home, 1160 Louisiana Ave., Port Allen, LA on Sunday, June 22nd from 1-6 pm (Family Hour 4-6 pm). Funeral service Monday, June 23rd at 11 am (Viewing 9-11 am) at Israelite Missionary Baptist Church, 6644 S. River Rd., Brusly, LA officiated by Elder George C. Pierce, Pastor. Interment at Israelite Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents – Reverend Joseph Luke Watson and Loutisha Hall Watson, husbands, eight brothers and six sisters.
