Florence Bateman went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the age of 84. She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Lacombe. Beloved wife for 62 years of the late Howell Ray Bateman. Mother of Ann Bateman Musacchia (Roy), Ray Bateman (Celie), Stephen Bateman (Linda) and Micky Bateman (Geralyn). Daughter of the late Matilda Barrileaux and Louis Dubois. Sister of the late Jean Matyas. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at L. A. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. Visitation from 6:00 p.m. until time of service.
