Todd Yancy Maglone, a resident of Slaughter, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at the age of 68. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Memorial services will be held at Slaughter United Methodist Church, Slaughter, LA, on Saturday, July 12, at 10 a.m. He is survived by his daughter, Tristan LeBlanc; brother, Clay Bernard Maglone Jr. and wife Maxine.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clay Bernard Maglone Sr. and Jeanette Rice Maglone; sister, Willie Estelle Maglone McNabb; brothers, Albert Chapman Maglone, Thomas Daniel Maglone and Gordon Rice Maglone. He was the organist for over thirty years and a lifelong member of Slaughter United Methodist Church and the organist for the Ethel UMC for the past six years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Slaughter UMC, PO Box 127, Slaughter, LA 70777.
