Carol Lawrence Milne, resident of Norwood, LA, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary, LA at the age of 82. Carol was born on March 17, 1932 in Iota, LA. She was a longtime member of Brookstown Baptist and Lanier Baptist Churches in Baton Rouge, and present member of Norwood Baptist Church. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Genevieve Jelks Lawrence; sister, Enid Laidlaw; brother-in-law, Boyd Laidlaw; and son, Jerry Lee Milne. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 64 years, Arthur F. Milne; children, Janie Milne, Charles W. Milne and wife Jeanette, and Peggy Robbins and husband Greg; grandchildren, Charles Milne Jr. and wife Amy, Brian J. Milne, Jennifer Faber and husband Jason, Lee Milne and wife Julie, Jameson Russ Milne, and Shane Milne; and great grandchildren, Adian Milne, Ainslie Milne, Jacob Faber, and Jill Faber. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and will continue Thursday, July 24, 2014 from 10:00 am until the funeral service begins at 12:00 pm.
