Tung Heng Chin born in Quangdong, China on September 15, 1930 passed on July 17, 2014. Son of the late See Tong Chin and Sun Bo Hom. He is survived by his wife Shui Kuen Lee Chin and five sons; Kai Shun, Kai Yee, Kai Man, Kai Yen and Kai Wing. He was preceded in death by his eldest son Kai Yiu. Mr. Chin is also survived by six grandchildren Nikki, Katie, Kristy, Kyle, Jianli, and Meiji and two daughter in-laws Lizzette and Gaye. He was the proprietor of the Red Palace restaurant for the last 40 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans (Formally All Faiths) on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital, 200 Henry Clay Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70118.
