Robert Obadiah Watts, Jr., a resident of Livingston, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the age of 88. He proudly served his country as a Signalman for his Fleet Commander in the South Pacific during World War II in the U.S. Navy. As co-owner of Sibley & Watts Auto Parts, he did auto mechanic work, and ran a service station and wrecker service with his lifelong friend, Paul Sibley. He also worked with lifelong friend J.W. Sartwell as an auto mechanic and millwright. Upon retirement he spent many happy years working in the cattle business with his son-in-law, Delton Blount. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation on Sunday, July 27, 2014 will be held at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Bayou Barbary beginning at 1:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Paul Taylor at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He is survived by his children, Neal Watts and wife, Janine Watts and Debra Watts Blount and husband, Delton Blount; grandchildren, Adam Blount and wife, Sarah; Kristina Blount Guyban and husband, Jarred; Jamie Watts and fiancé, Jeff; Kira Watts Marley and husband, Tom; Chuck Willis and wife, Marcella; James Willis and wife Jill; great granddaughter, Audrey Grace Blount and uncle Alvin Martin. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Elgin Lucille Willie Watts; parents, Robert Obadiah Watts, Sr. and Joyce Mack Watts; sister Janet Watts Stockwell and nephew Jack Stockwell. Pallbearers will be nephews, Robbie Stockwell, Alvie "Bubba" Stockwell, Alvie Stockwell, Jr. Lucas Stockwell, Wade Martin and Wynn Martin. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He was a member of American Legion and Millwright Local. He loved traveling, hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family whose lives he filled with love.
