A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Gladys Wiltz Bordelon on Saturday, July 26, 2014, 10:30 AM, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She will be buried in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. Fr. Joseph Campion will conduct the service. Gladys Wiltz Bordelon was born on August 4, 1917 in Breaux Bridge, LA. She was a resident of Houston Texas for the past 50 years. She was a parishioner at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Houston, TX. Gladys was a very caring, loving and giving person and always a joy to be around. Everyone who knew Gladys could tell you she loved her two dogs Bebe and Fluffy. Gladys departed this life to be with God in July 17, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arstille Williams, Edwin Wiltz and Lillian Simon; her former husband's, Ulinor Charles and Paul Bordelon; one son, Freddie Charles; three sisters, Pauline, Veronica and Manola; three brothers, Wesley, Paul and Freddie Wiltz; and four grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Venus, Vincent (Theresa) and Margaret Charles all of Houston, TX; Veronica Benoit, Stella John Louis and Anthony (Mary Alice) Cormier all of Lafayette, LA; sister Mildred Wiltz of Parks, LA; brothers, Marshall and Paris Wiltz of Beaumont, TX; forty-two grandchildren; three great great-great grandchildren and a host of niece, nephews, relatives and friends. Viewing will be Saturday, July 26, 2014, 7-9:30 AM at Kinchen Funeral Home. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Frazier-Mitchell Funeral Home of Houston, TX and Kinchen Funeral Home Inc. of Lafayette, LA.
