Gladys Eisworth Guidroz was a strong, caring person who loved her church, family and friends. She was a resident of Denham Springs, and passed away early Friday, August 8, 2014, at the White Road Serenity Home. She was 83. She was a retired supervisor of accounting with the State of Louisiana. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Sunday, August 10, 2014, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation on Monday, August 11, 2014, will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church in Greenwell Springs beginning at 10:00 am. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, conducted by Pastor Dennis Huckaby. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by son, Ricky Guidroz and wife Gail; two daughters, Dianne Talbot and husband John and Cindy Smith and husband Gene; seven grandchildren, Angela Zazzu, Nicole Taylor, Richelle Forrester, Nicholas Guidroz, Brandon Smith, Amanda Nichols and Matthew Smith; fourteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Boyd Eisworth; two sisters, Iris Dunlap and Viola Simoneaux. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shell and Lessie Eisworth; husband, Felix Roger Guidroz; three brothers, Louie Eisworth, Leroy Eisworth and Ray Eisworth; three sisters, Georgia Fountain, Annie Fugler and Axie Morris; step-mother Eva Eisworth and seven step-siblings. She was a charter member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be John Talbot, Gene Smith, Nicholas Guidroz, Brandon Smith, Matthew Smith and Rusty Simoneaux.
