Connie Byrd Odom Shrewsberry died August 11, 2014. She was a graduate of Live Oak High School and Louisiana State University. She is survived by her husband, William Curtis Shrewsberry, and her son, William "Bill" Curtis Shrewsberry, Jr.. She was preceded in death by her mother, Connie Easterly Odom; her father, Otto Oscar Odom; her brother, Harry Odom; her sisters, Helen Seigle Odom Perry and Elizabeth Odom Pratt. Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Wednesday, Aug. 13, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday, Aug. 14, from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., officiated by Rev. Dickie Davis. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be sent to First United Methodist Church, Denham Springs, LA 70726. Dear Curt, It grieves me to hear of Connie's passing. We were such good friends when living in Hendersonville, Tenn. Connie wrote such great letters. Bill and our (3) boys were always together and still keep in touch. Our sincere sympathy .
