Joseph was a retired electrician with IBEW Local 995, a native of Amite and a resident of the City of Central. He died at 6:00am Thursday, August 14, 2014 at his residence. He was 76. Joseph was a U.S. Navy veteran. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, Monday from 10:30am until the religious service at 1:30pm in the funeral home chapel, conducted by the Rev. Michael Moroney of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Military honors will follow. He is survived by his wife: Gayle Ruth Russell Rispone; his sons: Royce Rispone & wife Patti, Dale Rispone & wife Amy, and Brook Rispone & wife Stephanie; sister-in-law: Lynn Rispone; brother: Bobby Rispone & wife Patty; 6 grandchidlren: Brad Rispone, Kristen Rispone McFearin, Karen Rispone, Derek Rispone, Michael Rispone and Adam Rispone; one great-grandchild: Aubrey McFearin. Joseph was preceded in death by his father: Anthony Rispone; his mother: Marie Gulino Rispone; and his brother: Andy Rispone. Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren, Mario Rispone, Kirk Rispone and Amy Rispone Borskey.
