A native of Marksville, and a resident of Baton Rouge he passed away on Monday, August 18, 2014 at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife, Susan D. Bonnette; son and daughter in law, Keith & Jennifer Bonnette; sister and brother in law, Nona & Ronald Brouillette; and nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kermit & Helena Bonnette; and brother, James Hoyt Bonnette. He was a graduate of Istrouma High school, and was retired from EBRP Sheriff's Office, Carpenter Local and worked as a Federal Court House Security Officer. He was a member of the Denver Masonic Lodge No. 5, A.F. & A.M., Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in Baton Rouge, and Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Aurora, CO. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Hospice, Baton Rouge.
