Lawrence E. Hornsby was a resident of Watson, La and a native of Grangeville. He passed away at the Hospice of Baton Rouge Butterfly Wing, in Baton Rouge, on Monday, September 1, 2014 at the age of 79. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, who proudly served his country during the Korean War and The Vietnam War. Lawrence served his country honorably for 24 years, before he retired with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. After Lawrence retired he owned and operated a business in Denham Springs. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, in Denham Springs, on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 9:00 AM until Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Grangeville Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by his Loving wife of 59 years, Theresa Patterson Hornsby three sons; Keith and wife Gerilyn, Kevin and wife Monica, Daryl and wife Sherry, his daughter Tracy McRae and husband Danny, his sister Eloise Wales, two brothers; Bobby and wife Lucy, Roger and wife Jerry, eight grandchildren; Matthew, Breanne, Dennis, Nicole, Todd, Sarah, Samantha, Shannon, great-grandchildren; Hunter, Brooklyn, Austin, Jon Allen, Caden, Lydia, and a host of loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Dowling Wales, his brother Eugene, and his sister-in-law Arvie. Condolences may be offered online at
