Minson, Clay Taylor Clay Taylor Minson, 21, born in Baton Rouge and a longtime resident of Donaldsonville, was called home to Jesus on Sunday, June 12, 2005. He was an employee of Shaw Group and Tate's Tavern. His life was spent with loving friends and family. Visitation services at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville on Wednesday, June 15, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Thursday, June 16, from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The Rev. Joe Thibaut and the Rev. Don Wells will conduct the religious service at First Baptist Church in Donaldsonville at 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment in Ascension Catholic Cemetery. He is survived by his father, Rudy V. Minson Jr.; a loving sister, Amber Minson; maternal grandparents, Carl and Shannon Hester; paternal grandparents, William and Nancy Allen and Rudy Sr. and Mary Minson; aunts, Terry Sue Minson, Mickey Sanchez, Barbie Nagy, Gloria Hester, Cindy Edwards, Amy Fox and Elizabeth Poole; uncles, Tracy, Randall, Michael and Mitchell Minson and Todd Allen; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vicki Hester; maternal great-grandparents, Shirley Hartline and Cora Hester; paternal great-grandparents, Francis Ratcliff, Willie Tate, Ruby Minson and William Minson Sr.; and an uncle, Shane Hester. Honoring Clay as pallbearers will be Bobby Duhon, Emile Duhon, Kirk Landry, Corey Liverman, Brock Cassard and Tyler Prejean. Honorary pallbearers are Anthony "Marty" Beneditto, Beau Minson, Chase Hutchinson, Chet Pilley, Michael Chauff and Toby Prejean. Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, is in charge of arrangements. Clay will never be forgotten by his family and friends and will live forever in our hearts. The best son a father could ask for.
