Saturday, April 2, 2011, was the day the Lord chose for her to go to live with Him. She was 62, born Jan. 6 1949, in Casper, Wyo., the sixth of 11 children of Lloyd and Sally Fleniken Senn. She lived in St. Gabriel until she married in 1968, then lived in Baton Rouge until her death. She devoted her time to caring for her loving husband, raising her children, spoiling her grandchildren and being with her family and friends. She did volunteer work at Our Lady of Mercy Church on the Bereavement Committee & Homebound Ministry. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Tuesday, April 5, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with recitation of the rosary. Visitation at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 6, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Miles Walsh, celebrant. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by her husband, Daly "Dale" E. Fleniken, of 42 years; two daughters and a son-in-law, Amy Lynn Gill, of Baton Rouge, and Kimberly Ann and Bryan O'Cain, of Santa Monica, Calif.; son, Patrick Daly Fleniken, of Baton Rouge; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Nell and Don Michael Gill Jr., and Gavin Lynwood O'Cain; three sisters, Mary Frances White, Carolyn Peltier and Stella Leigh; seven brothers, William "Bill" Senn and wife Gloria, George Senn and wife Kay, Joseph Senn and wife Cynthia, Daniel "Dan" Senn and wife Diane, John Senn and wife Sheliah, David Senn and wife Pat, and Michael Senn and wife Bonnie; 46 nieces and nephews plus spouses; 78 great-nieces and great-nephews; and 10 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Senn and Sally Bridget Fleniken Senn.
