Owner of MDC McDowell Decorative Concrete and a resident of Prairieville, he died Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 43 and a native of Watson. Visiting at Healing Place Church, 19202 Highland Road, Wednesday, June 1, from 10 a.m. until memorial service at 1 p.m., conducted by Pastor Johnny Green. Survived by his wife, Tracey LeBlanc McDowell; mother, Betty McDowell Fletcher; father, Floyd Byron McDowell; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Sharon LeBlanc; daughter, Christian Claire McDowell; son, Collin Beau McDowell; sister, Cherie McDowell Bliss; brother, Dallas McDowell; and sister-in-law, Jimi LeBlanc Spicer and husband Dave.
