Morgan Grace Safer, beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece and friend, died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011. She blessed us for 29 years with her sarcastic wit, artistic passion, loving spirit and kind soul. Morgan was an honor student during her entire academic career and graduated with honors from St. Joseph's Academy in 2000. She was multi-talented and was most recently working with children at Journey Church, Denham Springs, and in social work. She will be greatly missed. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, Sept. 23, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be Jacob Safer, Paul Griffin, James Nunnally, Adam Love, Eric Murphy and Mike Wilks. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Love and Robert Richoux. She is survived by her mother, Deborah L. Griffin; father, Jeffrey L. Safer; maternal grandmother, Vivian Hill; maternal grandfather, Paul Griffin and his wife, Janet; paternal grandfather, David Safer; aunts and uncles, Donna and James Nunnally, Paul Griffin, Kathy Safer and Randy Dyson, and Don and Missy Love; sister, Abby Safer; brother, Jacob Safer; best friend, Andrea Miley; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
