Robert J. "Bobby" Chenier, Sr., age 76, was born on June 30, 1936 and passed away on November 7, 2012. He was a native of Reserve, LA and a resident of Gramercy, LA. He was a retiree of Kaiser Aluminum, after 29 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Katherine "Kitty" Bourgeois Chenier; sons, Robert "Bobby, Jr." Chenier and wife, Melissa Ann Chenier; Glenn Chenier, Keith Chenier and wife, Janell Poche Chenier. He is also survived by his brother: Alcee Chenier, Jr. and wife Veronica; Grandchildren: Robert Daniel Chenier, Emily Chenier, Jessi Chenier, brother-in-law, Andrew "Termite" Bourgeois and wife Peggy. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jean Batiste Alcee Chenier and Clair Freeman Chenier; Father-in-law: Andrew "Cotton" Bourgeois, Sr., and Mother-in-law, Emma Roberts Bourgeois. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Visitation will be on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
