A retired Center Supervisor at BREC's Jackson Park, Mary Free Barbati died January 25, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake. She was 67 years old and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 5pm until 9pm with a 7pm Rosary. and on Tuesaday, January 29, 2013 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Baton Rouge from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10am conducted by Fr. Frank Bass. Burial will be at Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bobby J. Barbati. Daughters, Melissa Godso and husband, Del and Aimee Bourgeois and husband, Joshua. Grandchildren, Colby Godso, Kaia Bourgeois, Ada Bourgeois and Lyla Bourgeois. She is preceded in death by a grandson, Caleb Michael Godso, parents, Leon and Josephine Free and a brother, George Free. Pallbearers will be Colby Godso, Keith Barbati, Jason Free, Jimmy Reno, Brandon Lewis, Neal Hawkins, and Shaun Godso. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Greenlee and Rafe Cupit.
