"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord." Grace Morales Miller passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Wednesday, January 5, 2021, at the age of 87. She was born on August 6, 1933 in White Castle, was a former resident of Plaquemine and a current resident of Prairieville. Visitation will be at Wilbert Funeral Home, 24120 Railroad Avenue, Plaquemine on Saturday, January 9th, from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine, at 1 p.m., with Deacon Randy Clement participating. Interment will follow in Grace Memorial Park where she will join her husband of 62 years, Lawrence "Manny" Miller, Sr. Grace is survived by a daughter, Gwen "Tootie" Robinson and husband Robert; son, Lawrence "Coot" Miller, Jr. and wife Tammy; grandchildren, Dawn Lowe, Gary Hernandez, Jr., Chad Cannella, Jessica Miller and Terry; great-grandchildren, Dane and Macy Lowe, Addison Hernandez, Bailey, Brycen, Brynlee Cannella, Jayden Gautreau, Briggs and Henley Chandler. Preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence "Manny" Miller, Sr.; parents, Henry and Cecile Suarez Morales; sister, Earline M. Bourgoyne, brother, William J. "B.B." Morales and Wilbert B. "Doo" Morales, Sr.; grandson-in-law, Danny Lowe; godchild, Lydia Bourgoyne. A special thanks to Ascension Oaks and Hospice of Baton Rouge, especially her nurse, Ashley Fletcher.
