I am saddened to read about my friend and former doctor who also was my daughter's from a teenager until after college when she left Baton Rouge. We are eternal grateful for him diagnosing her with endometriosis at age 14, the youngest patient he had diasnosed. He later used the video of her surgery in conjunction with Dr. Rogers in Houston for teaching purposes. I loved sweet Mae and Dr. Bowman. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Although I did not know Dr. Bowman, or his family, I wish to send condolences to the entire Bowman family; particularly during this stressful time of social distancing.
I have been studying my Bowman roots and would be interested in communicating with any of you who are knowledgeable about your family history--after things settle down, of course. My great uncle Dr. Albert Galilelo Bowman, retired from his Texas dental practice to Covington, Louisiana.
Again, my sympathies go out to Dr. Bowman's extended family; and I look forward to communicating with one of you in the future.
Sincerely, Kathy Bowman
