Mary Lee Bazile entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the age of 87. She was a native of Baton Rouge, LA. Mary Lee accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. Before her illness, she loved reading her bible, cooking, hand-sewing, and writing. Mary Lee is survived by her two daughters, Myra Dialekwa and Gwendolyn Dummons (Luke); nine sons, Leroy, Jr., Ronald, Melvin (Karlene), Kedrick, Willard (Charlene), Aaron (Phyllis), Jerome, Malcolm, and Eric Bazile; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Bazile, Sr.; daughter, Debra Bazile; grandson, Justin Lamont Turner; daughter-in-law, Etta Bazile; her parents, Annie Bell and Walter Davis; four sisters, Pearl Winfield, Louise Henderson, Elnora Jones, and Lucy Servick; and one brother, Lawrence Daigle. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 9:00 am until the time of funeral service at 10:00 am.
