Vada Baufel Jones, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on July 15, 2018, at the age of 85. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, July 18, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at Gash Memorial Chapel, Lawrenceburg, Ky, Friday July 20, visiting 9am to 10:30am with Memorial service to follow at Gash Memorial Chapel, Lawrenceburg, Ky., at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa, Ky. Survived by her daughter, Jennifer Jones Matthews and spouse Tim, of Baton Rouge; three sons and spouses, Garnett "Skipper" Jr. and Cecilia Jones of Port Allen and Charles "Chuck" and Linda Jones, of Denham Springs, and Jeffrey Sr. and Rhonda Jones, of Gonzales; 13 grandchildren, Danielle Satawa and husband Jamey, Melissa Jones, Garnett "Chip" Jones III and wife Leigh, Jeffrey Jones Jr. and wife Jholeh, John Jones and wife Kayleigh , Dakota Jones, Tim Matthews Jr, Wesley Matthews and wife Hillary, Dillon Matthews, Tony Bostwick, Marty Bostwick, Darla Bond and Doris Ray Coutee; and 13 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Knutsen, Christian Knutsen, Brayden Satawa, Laura Satawa, Caleb Satawa, Luke Matthews, Marc Matthews, Andrew Matthews, Max Jones, Parker Jones, Maliheh Jones, Skylar Bond and Kameron Bond. Preceded in death by her husband Garnett Jones, Sr. her parents, son, Edward James Jones; and daughter, Laura Lynn Jones.
