I never meet this man; I just know that it was bobby's father.

Reading this site, he seems to had a very filled and active life.
I know that losing a father is a very painful event, which needs time to repair the hole in the heart.
I just wanted to offer my condolences.

Our thoughts go to all the Michot family: our dear friends Bobby, Beatrice and daughters, "Michot brothers" sons of Pat and Louis and their wifes, Grandchildren we know and met in France.
I will always keep the memory of fabulous persons who were Louis and Pat, their meeting with my grand parents in France, particulary with my grand father who fought too during the 2nd world war.
Nous pensons fort à vous.

Much has been written about Louis and I wish to add some personal comments. Louis was a dear friend of my father, Sidney Lemarie', which in his opinion, made him a dear friend to me as well. Although I was not close to him, he always made me feel as though I was a welcome family member and friend. His list of achievements and accomplishments are only surpassed by his ability to be both a humble servant and a force to be reckoned with at the same time. It has truly been my privilege to be considered a friend of his and I extend my sympathy to the family as we recognize Louis for the example that he inspired many to follow.

Warmest Regards,

Larry Lemarie

He was state superintendent when I was a teacher; he was my boss when I worked at Burger Chef while student teaching. I saw him at daily mass at St. Pius. A greater man, I have not met.

Judge Michot, Mike, all the siblings and family--I was wondering why I hadn't been seeing your father at daily mass, now I know why. I had no idea he was ill and I am very sorry that I didn't know. He would miss mass, sporadically, but always returned. We go back a very long way and I will dearly miss him at daily mass and seeing him playing tennis early in the morning in Girard Park. I'll always remember his public service as state superintendent. Last time we spoke was at Al Leonpacher's birthday party where he jokingly referred to me by one of the nicknames he'd given me "Mother Theresa." Although he is no longer with us, I know Pat is very glad to have him in heaven with her. He was a very good man. You were blessed to have such great and good parents. All of you are in my prayers.
