Donald D.J. "White" Folse, 91, a native of Raceland and a resident of Thibodaux, former resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA; and from 8:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, May 14, 2018, at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Mathews, LA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA. He is survived by his wife, Mary Kraemer Folse; sons, Aaron, Rhett, Bart, Matt, Stuart and Don Folse; brothers, L.J. Folse and Kenneth Folse; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leandre Jr. and Celine Folse; son, Kyle Folse; and sisters, Ouida Folse, Vera Wallace, Myrtis Lucas Smith and Cecilia Barrilleaux. He was Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council # 4761, member VFW, American Legion and Most Blessed Sacrament Men's Club and Choir. In lieu of flowers, consider donations to Bishop Ott Works of Mercy Trust Fund. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
