I've known Joe since Jr. High. We got to be friends in art class at ASH (10th grade). Joe set me up with a classmate of ours who had told him that she liked me. He gave me a picture he had taken of her and suggested we double date so I could get to know her. She is the love of my life and we have been married for almost 43 years with 4 children and six grandchildren. We have Joe to thank for that, and I still have the picture he gave me.
Joe talked me into sitting in with him with the band at our 20 yr. class reunion in Alex. He was, in fact, an accomplished blues guitarist, till then I didn't even know he played. What a great guy. Always smiling and upbeat with a great sense of humor. I am certain he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Our condolences to his family.
