Genevieve Coleman was born on April 8, 1927, and was called home to GOD on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Genevieve, most affectionately known as "Bea", was surrounded by family and friends in a way as she would truly have wanted, when she received her wings in Heaven. Genevieve was born the daughter of Viola and Emanuel Schonberg on April 8, 1927. Also to this union were three other sisters (Doris Leon and Josie Gray whom both proceeded her in death, and Sadie (Claudell) Leon. Genevieve and the late Louis Coleman to their union has (13) Children, (29) Grandchildren, (47) Great Grandchildren, (4) Great- Great Grandchildren, (1) GOD Daughter Lillie Gail Henry. Genevieve Coleman lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed making all things possible for any and all who graced her home with their presence. Genevieve is proceed in death by her husband Louis Coleman, Sr., (2) daughter's Erica Joseph & Brenda Walker, parents Viola & Emanual Schonberg, (1) Granddaughter Brittany Huey Riley. Visiting 5-7 PM, Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Demby & Son Funeral Home, Donaldsonville. Visitation continues 9 AM, Friday, July 13, 2018 at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church, 206 West 10th St., Donaldsonville, until religious services at 11 Am, conducted by Rev. Carnell Joseph, Pastor. Interment in the church cemetery.
