The heavens have another star shining down on us now. Judy sparkled and shone through her life with the help of her friends and family, "Judy's Jewels." We will miss her dearly, but will rejoice and celebrate the glory of a life well-lived. Judy Vasbinder Clay, 76 years old, passed away on July 10, 2018. She entered this world on July 6, 1942, in Indiana, Pennsylvania, born to Emerson and Elaine Vasbinder. Especially beloved were her Red Hat sisters who have been there for support, love, and everlasting friendships. Judy is survived by her daughter, Laura Clay Ferguson; grandson, Ryan Steve Ferguson; wife, Erin Gauthier Ferguson; brother, Leonard Vasbinder and wife Marianne; sisters, Betty Miley and husband L.J., Janet Madere and husband Charles. Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Steve Clay; her parents Emerson and Elaine Vasbinder. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker on Friday, July 13, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The visitation will continue Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Pallbearers will be Ryan Ferguson, Michael Madere, Scott Miley, L.J. Miley and Robert Miley, Daniel Ferguson Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Madere, Lieutenant Colonel Keith Madere and Ian Vasbinder. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Woman's Hospital and Clarity Hospice. They became dear friends who cared for her like she was family. I am so sorry for your loss. My mother & father knew Mr Richard and Ms Judy. My dad worked with Mr. Richard at Hullinghorst Ind.

So sorry to hear of Judy's passing. I enjoyed playing po-ke-no with her. She was such a sweet graceful lady.I will certainly miss her at our po-ke-no games.
