As a next door neighbor to my grandmother, the late Bertha DeJean, on 13th Street (now Eddie Robinson Dr.)I remember as a family-like tie with this dear and gracious soul. We renewed our acquaintance during her travels to Natchitoches, LA on professional assignment. The DeJean, Sterling, Spooner, Efron and Ward family members will miss her. May she rest in a higher place of praise throughout eternity. She is deserving of perpetual rest from the trials of this world.
