Mr. Orie will live on in the lives of his family, especially his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. It was my great privilege to get to know him as he built our Atchafalaya Conservation Center. The stories of Bayou Chene and the Atchafalaya came alive through his eyes. RIP Mr. Orie...you won't be forgotten. Sincerely, Jim Bergan and your friends at The Nature Conservancy
