Rev. Junior Thompson departed this life on Sunday January 6, 2019 at Tulane Medical Center, New Orleans, LA. He was 72, a native and resident of Napoleonville, LA. Visitation on Thursday January 10, 2019 at Williams and Southall Funeral Home, Napoleonville, LA from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Visitation on Friday January 11, 2019 from 9:00am to Religious Services at 11:00am at St. Phillip Baptist Church in Labadieville, LA conducted by Rev. Adam Williams. Burial in Church Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Ruby Mae Thompson; 2 sons, Gerald and Terrance Thompson; 1 daughter, Belinda Thompson; 6 brothers; 8 sisters; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Mae and Anderson Thompson, Jr.; 1 daughter, Patricia Thompson North; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
