Benjamine Armstead entered into eternal rest at his home on Sunday, February 3, 2019. He was a 73-year-old native of Plaquemine, Louisiana; a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and U.S. Army veteran. Visitation at Roscoe Mortuary, Friday, February 8, 2019 from 4-6pm. Visitation resumes at the Greater St. Mary Baptist Church in Plaquemine on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 9:00 am until service at 11:00 am. Interment on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Port Hudson National Cemetery. Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia S. Armstead, nine children, twenty grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. Services entrusted to Roscoe Mortuary of Plaquemine, La.
