So sorry to hear of Pete's passing. I'm a member of the family from New Orleans. I am the daughter of Nicholas and Dolores Palermo, Mellanie. Granddaughter of Nicholas and Pauline Pizzalotto Palermo. I remember coming to Fordoche with the family as a child. Great memories, seeing fireflies for the first time and chasing piglets. So sorry that another family member has passed. May God Bless the family and grant you comfort.

Ms Dolores and Blake, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I know you must be heartbroken. I don't know if you remember me, but I'm Elaine Higgins' daughter and lived across the street from you on 69th Avenue. It has been many years since we last saw one another. Hugs and much love to you and your family
